Evergreen is a vivid green holographic polish, and is opaque in approximately two coats.  Evergreen is named for evergreen plants, which are plants that maintain green leaves throughout the year. In the US, the most widely recognized examples are various conifer trees like pine, spruce, and fir, as well as things like juniper and holly. A base coat is recommended with this polish, as it is highly pigmented and highly pigmented polishes can stain. 

Evergreen is one of two greens in the Winter Holodays collection.  Evergreen is a true, vivid green, whereas Spruce is more of a blue-toned green.  As with many holo polishes of similar color, it's easiest to tell the difference between the two in slightly dimmer indirect light.
