Chimera is a color shifting shimmer top coat made by combining four Mythological pigments (Phoenix, Dragon, Unicorn, and Kelpie). The effect isn’t the obvious transition of a single pigment alone, but has more of a “points of light” effect.  Chimera is part of the Mythological Creatures collection, which contains the basic top coats for each Mythological creature.
Prior to the introduction of Kelpie to the Mythological line, a customer requested a blend of the three existing Mythological top coats (Phoenix, Dragon, and Unicorn), and named that resulting top coat Uniphoedra.  That polish gave rise to the Chimera polishes - as chimera is the term used for a mythical hybrid creature composed of parts of other creatures, it seemed appropriate for a pigment blend that is a combination of four Mythological creatures. Just like each of the creatures in the Mythological line is tied to a specific pigment, a Chimera polish will contain the four color shifting pigments used in Starlight and Sparkles' Phoenix, Dragon, Unicorn, and Kelpie polishes.
Rather than offering sets, purchasing four or more bottles of polish from the Mythological line in a single order will give a discount of 3.5% on all Mythological polishes in the order, which will be reflected in the cart, under the line "Mythological line discount."
The last photo shows what Starlight Polish 15mL and 7.5mL bottles look like.
The color shifting pigments in the Chimera polishes are a combination of the four pigments used in four of the other "creature" types of Mythological polishes (Phoenix, Dragon, Unicorn, and Kelpie). These pigments can produce different ranges of color shift, from the red to green of "unicorn pee" pigment to the gold to green, green to blue, and teal to violet of "unicorn pee sibling" pigments.
